ADEQUATE! is an funk band that is at the center of a new era in Urban Contemporary music. The band is carving out a brand new sound that will resonate deeply with audiences across the globe. ADEQUATE! is a group of highly innovative and talented musicians who are constantly breaking new ground. 
 
ADEQUATE! Was founded in 2014 in the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada by Keenan Pezderic (Drums and lead vocals), Scott Mezei (Bass, backing vocals), and Josh Thorlakson (Guitar, backing vocals). Little did they know that this fortuitous crossing of paths was the genesis of a great musical journey. With the addition of their long time sound engineer and session player Shael Pezderic (Guitar, percussion, backing vocals), ADEQUATE! has rounded out their sound into the full and captivating sound that they had always imagined. Music brought them together and over the years they have developed a diverse style of songwriting that is transparent, daring, and reflective of the experiences of the Band. ADEQUATE! has an affinity for diverse genres of music embellished and firmly imprinted within. Their repertoire includes classic funk, R&B, and their very own funk-infused genre that is aptly named “Medio-Core”, a play on words that will resonate with other out of the box thinkers ADEQUATE! is extremely versatile and able to incorporate, integrate and accentuate their music across a plethora of well-known and niche Genres. 
 
Together the talented musicians make music that is influenced by icons such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Rick James, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grand Funk Railroad, Jimi Hendrix, Parliament Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins, Five Alarm Funk, Anderson Paak, and The Band. Their music embodies their hopes and dreams. As they seek to make music that is joyful and impacts audiences in a big way by creating a fun and free atmosphere where people can fully express themselves without prejudice. The project allows the talented individuals to fully express themselves and deliver a musical experience that is both unique and engaging.
